Samburu Elephant Ceramic Sculpture by De Rosa Rinconada. A unique and original collector's item, crafted down to the smallest detail. In ancient times the elephant was the symbol of strength, power and wisdom and was a cult animal. Mythology praised the elephant's purity. Giving it today is a symbol of good luck, but only if it has the trunk raised. This sculpture represents a Samburu elephant, the body is painted in shades of brown, with details in blue, black and gold and large ivory-colored horns. De Rosa Rinconada creations are made of the finest Uruguayan ceramic decorated with brightly colored enamels and 18 kt gold and platinum. The dimensions of the sculpture are 4,72'x3,93'x6,69' (width x length x height). Made in Montevideo, Uruguay.
