In ancient times the elephant was the symbol of strength, power and wisdom and was a cult animal. Mythology praised the purity of the elephant. Giving it today is an auspicious symbol, but only if its proboscis is raised. This sculpture represents an African elephant, the body is painted in shades of light blue and gray, with details in blue, black, white, gold and platinum. The peculiarity of this sculpture is that the elephant is all carved to give the effect of rough and aged skin, typical of pachyderms.
